Introduction
The Conference will be organized and hosted by Water Partner Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, Long An Province.
On 28 February 2013 the Final Conference of our pilot project in Vietnam ‘Participation in Climate Adaptation’ will take place in Tan An, Long An Province. The Conference will be organized and hosted by Water Partner Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, Long An Province.
The central tenet of this conference is the presentation of the Final Preferred Climate Change Adaptation Strategy, being developed during the project, based on a participative planning process at different levels (i.e. province, district, commune level ) in combination with advanced decision support tools.
Delegations from neighboring Provinces in the Mekong Delta, from Provinces in Central and Northern Vietnam, and from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will participate, next to international speakers and international organizations such as UNDP and the World Bank.
